Music Critic; Two Good Heads They Say… But DonJazzy and 9ice???

I am pretty convinced that I wouldn’t expect to hear anything lesser than WOW!, when a guru and good music lovers’ delight; Don Jazzy and So-called King of lyrics and sultry singer 9ice work on a proposed hit-banger track. To also support my notion, the saying goes “Two good heads are better than one”. Disappointingly, reverse was the case for this duo on the production of ‘Ike Kan’. For music lovers, this is much of a child’s play…”Even playing drums with my workstation table and a Vector dropping freestyle rap lines on the beat kills it better for me any day” No dissing!!!

Should I say Alapomeji has lost his gig or he’s just trying to join the cacophonic music we listen to nowadays? Truthfully, he leaves so many beats playing without having lyrics to drop on them. More so, what’s up with the ..ion …ion rhymes? Is he running out of lines and rhymes? We have new boys under the radar with killer lines for us to bite and ‘chillax’. Dude, I will say: Please music is what we pay for to enjoy. If you want us to remain your fans like we still are, please give us something worth our while. Maybe you should remix “Gimme the lighter…”

As for Don Jazzy, I love you so much and I have lots of friends who will die just to behold you. Nowadays we seem not to get you anymore. I am pretty sure that if it were an upcoming act that was dropping such lyrics as 9ice just did, you wouldn’t have allowed him/her use your name on the track not to talk of the promo cover. Kindly advise your acquaintance to stop unnecessary repetition of lines in their songs whenever you are working with them.
Please don’t see this as a diss of the both of you. You are doing great in your careers but guys, the song from lyrics to production didn’t kill it for us your fans. I am sure I am speaking the minds of most of your fans. Peace guys!
